The Prenatal yoga series is designed for expecting moms, from the first to last trimester. It is a slow practices that is are nuturing
and energizing. Prenatal yoga can be powerful for expecting mothers, building strength and confidence that may help to minimize discomfort during pregnancy and give tools for the delivery process and post delivery stages.
A class just for kids (age 5-8) where they can explore yoga poses, breathing, relaxation technique and mindfulness.

Malas, Mantra & Meditations
An afternoon workshop to find creativity and connection.
During this workshop each participant will make a mala necklace (Indian Rosary) with rudraksha seeds and polished gem stone beads.
We will discuss the various significance of mala beads, the power of Mantra mediation, as well as how to create your own personal mantra or Japa Meditation.
Once the malas are all constructed we will share the chanting of a mantra together using our new malas, feeling the benefit of vibration, repetition as well as group energy.

Read: The Classic Text The Bhagavad Gita (any translation is acceptable, however, I recommend the version written by Stephen Mitchell). Lets learn together why these incredibly old texts and wisdom teaching can still help to make profound benefit in our modern lives.
Feel: Whatever comes up in a safe place with others on a similar journey
Share: Always optional, but certainly not a requirement
Yoga: We will share an all levels yoga class designed to help us feel in alignment with what we have learned.

The Art of Flight

This workshop is about creating the stability and foundation to "take off". We will practice a rooting and core warming flow to prepare the body to take flight into various arm balances, with time to break each fundamental down and explore.
After a lunch break we will return to apply many of the same principals to turning the body upside down in inversions like shoulder stand, headstand, handstand and forearm balance.
Some yoga experience is required and students wishing to join the afternoon session must also attend the morning.
Yoga 101 (Beginner Basics)

Have you always wanted to try yoga but haven’t known where to start?
This workshop is for you!
A day designed for the brand new yogi. By the end of the day you will be ready to walk confidently into any yoga space and be right at home on the mat.
Beginner Basics Yoga Practice - exploring all the foundational poses of haha yoga.
Lunch and Yoga Background (please bring snacks or a bagged lunch).
While eating lunch we will enjoy a quick overview of yoga, it’s origins, history and central themes.
This section of the workshop with include take home hand-outs that describe some of the deeper lessons of yoga:
What do Om and namaste mean?
What does the edge mean?
What are the differences between various styles of yoga practice?
Yoga posture clinic:
Breaking down the poses one at a time. We will take a deeper look at each of the postures, with demonstration, practice, discussion and hand-outs.
-5-10 minute break
Restorative yoga practice and Pranayama (guided breath work) to close the day.
