Chelsea Eisses
Chelsea EissesInner Roar Owner, ERYT500, Holistic Health Coach
Chelsea is an intense lover of life and sees the practice of yoga as something that happens in all aspects of life, moment by moment. To Chelsea, Yoga means self study, it is much more than a practice that happens on the mat, it is an exploration, an evolution, a lifestyle.

Chelsea carries the same passion she has for yoga into all of her endeavours as a holistic nutrition coach, snowboarder, world traveller, outdoor enthusiast, self proclaimed food geek and writer. She has had articles featured in various health and wellness publications including Elephant Journal, Yoganonymous, Yogi Times and Giai.

Chelsea, like you, is a beautiful work in progress and credits her yoga practice as her greatest gift and greatest teacher.

She believes the road to vibrant health and inspired living looks different for each of us and that it’s ALL YOGA, on the mat or out in the world.

What we do with our moments builds and collects to write the story of our lives, giving us room to grow, to live with purpose and on purpose!

Rhonda loves learning in all forms and through dedicated practice (which eventually lead to pursuing her teacher designation) realized not only the physical benefits of yoga but also the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. She found that the way she felt on the mat eventually made its way off the mat and became her roadmap of how she wanted to interact with the world!

Through her yogic journey, Rhonda discovered the many layers of herself as well as developed a desire to hold a safe, judgement free space for her students. This space is a place for her students to do their own inner work and just simply be themselves, allowing them to notice their own aspects of growth and change.

Rhonda is an outdoor lover, mother, wife, travel bug, and a self-professed science geek. She brings all sides of herself to the mat and classes; she hopes to see you there!

Costa Where? Costa Here:

Officially the Republic of Costa Rica (Spanish: República de Costa Rica), is a country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and Ecuador to the south of Cocos Island. It has a population of around 4.5 million, of whom nearly a quarter live in the metropolitan area of the capital and largest city, San José.

Costa Rica is known for its progressive environmental policies, being the only country to meet all five UNDP criteria established to measure environmental sustainability. It was ranked 42nd in the world, and third in the Americas, in the 2016 Environmental Performance Index, was twice ranked the best performing country in the New Economics Foundation’s Happy Planet Index, which measures environmental sustainability, and was identified by the NEF as the greenest country in the world in 2009. Costa Rica officially plans to become a carbon-neutral country by 2021 – how rad is that!?!

The Sanctuary is perched approximately 1000 yards slightly above the Pacific Ocean in Cabuya at the southernmost tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, which is one of only five Blue Zones in the entire world by having a large concentration of centenarians living in the area. We are only two miles from Costa Rica’s first National Nature Preserve, Reserva Cabo Blanco, and neighbors to the quaint artistic beach-town of Montezuma and the surf towns Mal Pais and Santa Teresa.

The Sanctuary at Two Rivers gets her name from the Center’s land beginning at the junction of two rivers. In ancient India this was called a Sangama. This point is revered as an auspicious place to build temples and ashrams because of the positive energy that literally flows over, around, and through this matrix of topography. Furthermore, set amongst hundreds of uninhabited tropical-dry forest acres, our privately secluded property of forty acres encloses manicured tropical gardens and jurassic jungle, making it ideal for both inner and outer exploration. That’s nearly three acres of Earth per guest to enjoy, enliven and enlighten.

Accommodation & Resort Grounds

Each of the six Jungle Lofts places each guest at eye level with the forest canopy and her passing monkeys, singing tropical birds, and scented floral trees. Plenty of room to perch yourself on a hammock at canopy eye level with your favorite book, a pair of binoculars, digital camera and a glass of fresh mountain spring water. Screened-in open-faced walls allow for vintage viewing, excellent ventilation, and pleasurable sun and moonlight. Refreshingly cool slate stone supports the ambiance to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

Onwards and upwards in your own private tropical paradise. Upstairs in the bedroom mezzanine, guest beds have an unencumbered view to the jungle. In the spacious bathroom and private dressing area there is ample sink shelf space for each guest. And right outside is a tropical garden view solar hot water shower with great pressure and wide shower head. All of these Jungle Lofts are of a townhouse design with two lofts side-by-side. Each accommodates two individuals; each guest in a single twin bed, or combined to form a king bed.

The Pool & Spa was designed to allow retreat guests to commune together during both day and night. The lap pool runs 43 feet in length and 12 feet in width, from 4′ 5″ to 4′ 7″ providing ample depth, width and length for the most avid swimmer to enjoy this excellent form of exercise. The pool is lined with fossilized white and pink coral, providing a great texture beneath your feet and a cool reflective surface making the pool’s water exceptionally refreshing here in the tropics.

There are two partially enclosed but assuredly private massage rooms each with an adjustable massage table which can be enjoyed with a deep tissue or Swedish massage, acupuncture, and beauty skin care treatments all assisting to make your yoga vacation more relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating.

Ok, Ok, but what about the Food??

Adjacent to our waterfalls, Yoga Retreat Costa Rica guests will enjoy three organic gourmet vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, whole food nutritious & delicious meals daily.

The professionally outfitted kitchen is designed for their amazing chef to create delicious works of culinary art which are all lovingly plated and served to you during your entire yoga retreat. There are two large dining tables that comfortably seat ten people on cushioned armchairs. This allows us to have an intimate gathering at one table or to set them both for larger groups. Our open-aired dining lanai overlooks the most elegant tropical gardens where Monkeys, Hummingbirds, and Butterflies are continuously passing by.

Next to the dining area is an al fresco deck where you can have morning tea or coffee and gaze deep into the jungle landscape and flowing waterfalls. Or, access WiFi 24/7 and Skype with a friend!
